The spiral hose is three metres long when it is fully extended, and is an easy way of connecting a dug-down frost-free water pipe with the heated, insulated hose that is connected to the trough’s float valve.
The easiest thing is to have a simple well in the form of a DN200 pipe down to the water pipe. One end of the spiral hose is connected to the water pipe that is dug down to a frost-free depth in the ground, and the other end is connected to the heated hose. Included in the price is a spiral hose, quick connectors and an insulated lid, DN 200. Most effective when used together with ThermoBar’s heated hose.
